CONDITIONS
Rental period
The minimum period of rent is one week, Saturday-Saturday. Guests are expected to arrive on a Saturday between 4.00 pm
and 7.00 pm. Special arrangements need to be made for arrival outside of these times. Guests are requested to vacate by
10.00 am on the day of departure.
Booking and payment Upon confirmation of a reservation, a deposit of 50%, (non refundable), is payable within 8 days to secure the booking. The balance is due 10 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay. Reservations within 10 weeks require full payment when making the reservation. The preferred method of payment is by bank transfer. Details will be provided in order to facilitate this procedure. We reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled if the balance remains unpaid 10 weeks prior to your arrival and the cancellation terms outlined below will apply. Receipts will be sent upon payment of the deposit and the balance. Directions to the property will be sent prior to your arrival if transfers have not been requested.
Cancellations by you You may cancel your reservation at any time by notifying us in writing. Letter, facsimile or email should make such cancellation notice and cancellation applies from the date of receipt of cancellation notification. The following cancellation terms apply. More than 10 weeks prior to arrival: forfeiture of the deposit. Less than 10 weeks prior to arrival: total cost.
Cancellations by us (Force majeure) It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements once your deposit has been received. However, in the unlikely event of a force majeure, (events outside our control), we accept no liability whatsoever in respect of any alteration, cancellation, loss or damage caused by political unrest, war, riots, civil strife, industrial disputes, strikes, Governments, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, storms, floods, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, technical or administrative problems with transport, closure of airports, or any other occurrences amounting to 'force majeure' and/or acts of God.
Alterations to your booking Any changes to a reservation within 10 weeks of your scheduled arrival will be treated as a cancellation and the cancellation charges above will apply. If you are unable to travel, you may transfer your reservation to a third party.
Travel insurance We strongly recommend that travel insurance be taken out prior to making the first payment.
Security deposit A refundable security deposit of 500 euros is payable upon arrival at the villa. This cautionary deposit protects against accidental breakages or damage.
Telephone charges All telephone calls are metered, and these costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
Catering We can arrange a chef, and service staff if required, on a part time or full time basis, and prior notice is required. These services are payable locally, directly to the person(s) providing the service.
Acceptance of booking conditions The completion of the enquiry form is an acknowledgement that these terms and conditions are understood and accepted by you and all members of your party.
